I haven't posted for a couple of days, and have quite a bit going on the next couple of days. So, I thought I'd show you this little tree frog visitor that was on our window yesterday. I'll have a new post up on Saturday. (Click once, and even twice, to enlarge.)

Hey, short posts work just fine, too! 🙂
So . . . he/she was **on** your window? Apparently tree frogs can cling to smooth surfaces? Fun photo! Great “capture”! 🙂

Yes, he/she was on the window. As it would move along, it would leave some of its slimy residue behind. I wish I could blame everything on the windows on the tree frog! But, just the slime was from it. I wanted to get a photo of it stretching out to move. I set my camera on continuous shooting. When I would back away, it would move, but not when I was relatively close. Then I lowered the camera briefly. That’s when it, instead of slithering on the glass, sprang (spring, sprang, sprung?) several inches onto the wood siding of our house.

You know, you really ought to add “clean windows” to your to-do list over the next few days. NOT!!! (Window cleaning is highly overrated, in my opinion. You no sooner get them done than they need it again!) I am TOTALLY kidding! (Or toadily. Oh, I forgot: he/she’s a frog.) Oh my, I’m betraying myself (my silliness) on a public website . . . .

You know: I’d totally forgotten till just now that when I was last at our house (having been gone now for a few days), there was a little frog on **our** window!!! It was maybe 1.5″ long and an inch wide. It was (I suppose obviously . . . and hopefully!) on the outside of the window, so the part I saw from inside the kitchen was its off-white underbelly. At first, I thought it was a moth! Imagine my surprise when I put my face up a few inches from the window to see what kind of moth! I’ll have to tell Jeff. He’ll think that was cool. 🙂 Glad this new comment in my mailbox reminded me! 🙂
