Having been gone over the weekend, and celebrating Katie’s (our younger daughter) birthday today, I don’t have a new post ready for today except…

Yesterday when I was doing the mandatory 1/2 hour of window shopping at Lake Okoboji, I ran across a tiny plaque that had the following on it.  Reading it put a little skip in my step and was a good reminder for me.

TODAY is a GIFT.

That’s why they call it THE PRESENT.
